Originally from California, Dave grew up in Bethesda, Maryland. In 1974, he learned to ride on Bandit and Big Red in
Tulsa, Oklahoma. He's loved horses ever since! After a 22 year career on the waterfront, he enrolled in Joe Mangravito's
intensive 3 month certification course in Davie, Florida. The reason for pursuing the John Lyons Conditioned Response
Training method was simple: It works! And it works on every horse. It is a logical and gentle approach, unlike harsh
old-school techniques. Dave loves helping people achieve the relationship with their horse that they always wanted!
Dave and Sable know all too well how life can get rough and rocky sometimes. A good horse can make a big difference!
